Two Rohingya Houses Torched In Gawduthara By Rakhine Extremists

Maungdaw, Arakan – Two Rohingya houses torched by Rakhine extremists in Gawduthara village in Maungdaw township of Arakan state.
The extremist group torched the house of Abul Gaffar at 1:10 am and an adjacent house owned by Gura Miah was also burnt to ashes. The villagers extinguished the fire after two houses burnt to ashes.
Gawduthara village is the nearest village of Duchiradan where the mass killing took place in last month. The police outpost is very close to the village. The villagers confirmed it wasn’t a normal fire that broke out but they were torched by the extremists.

Maungdaw, Arakan – Rakhine extremists are torching houses in Gawduthara village in Maungdaw township of Arakan state. The extremist group start torching the houses at 1:10 am (7th February 2014) and the houses are still burning.
